Education


  • Masters, Master of Business Administration (MBA), in Accounting

Additional Requirements


  • MBA (Major in Accounting or Finance)/M. Com (Accounting or Finance) from any reputed university with good academic background.
  • ACMA or ACA candidate will get extra advantage. Candidates should also complete Article ship from any reputed Chartered Accountancy Firm may be apply.
  • Advanced experience in Tally Software, Finance & Accounts Operation software and Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint etc).
  • At least 15 years experiences in any reputed Public/Private university.
  • Minimum 05 years experiences in the same or equivalent position is preferred.
  • Professional knowledge and ability to work under pressure be meeting deadline.
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skill.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information and data statistics.
  • The incumbent should have fluent communication and writing skill in both Bangla and English with excellent IT knowledge.
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities & Context

  • The applicant will be responsible to look after University’s Financial & Accounting operational activities.
  • He will supervise the overall functions of Finance & Accounts Department, monitor University’s budget, VAT & Stamps, Tax, Banking and other financial activities in order to achieve University's goal.
  • Developing and maintaining timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Supervising and monitoring Monthly Accounts Statements, Monthly Material/Goods Consumption Report, Project/Job Costing, Payroll and Employee taxes.
  • Driving the financial planning of the University by analyzing its performance and risks.
  • Developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Managing Banking relationship and processing files.
  • Checking of daily accounting transactions including online payments and mobile banking.
  • Retaining constant awareness of the University's financial position and acting to prevent problems.
  • Setting targets for and supervising all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants).
  • Developing and maintaining financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
  • Preparing timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Managing the University’s Income Tax, VAT, RJSC related works efficiency.
  • Monitoring of reports regarding inventory, Utility bill, budget and others as per requirements.
  • Performing any other task as assigned by the University and Management.
  • Providing strategic advice, direction and leadership for Finance & Accounts.
  • Ensuring all recommendations appearing in various internal, external, regulatory audit. Compliance Review reports are implemented in an appropriate manner.
  • Must Experience on Tally ERP.
