  • Over 5 years of experience in AI, with more than 2 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale AI projects from research through development.
  • Expert proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming languages (e.g., Python).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge of deep learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, and natural language processing (NLP).
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and growing high-performance teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems for training and inference.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and execute an AI strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
  • Lead AI research efforts to create innovative, scalable solutions that drive business growth.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of machine learning engineers and data scientists.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to leverage AI in enhancing products and optimizing processes.
  • Design and deploy machine learning models across various applications, including computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), reinforcement learning, and more.
  • Establish technical standards and best practices for AI and machine learning development to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Present AI initiatives and results to leadership, providing insights on their business impact and overall performance.
  • Utilize machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn for model development.
  • Deploy AI services on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to ensure scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Implement distributed training strategies using GPUs for deep learning models to enhance performance and processing capabilities.
  • Leverage data engineering tools like Apache Spark and Kafka to build and manage data pipelines.
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration to ensure scalability, reproducibility, and efficient model deployment.
  • Collaborate using Git for version control to streamline team workflows and project development.
  • Track project progress with project management tools like JIRA and Confluence, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Implement MLOps practices to manage the deployment, monitoring, and optimization of machine learning models throughout their lifecycle.
