Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Understanding SOP development, documentation, and implementation to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency
Contract Negotiation & Management: Capable of drafting, negotiating, and managing vendor or partner contracts to align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
Customer Feedback & Complaint Handling: Proficient in techniques for collecting and analyzing customer feedback, resolving complaints, managing cancellations, and continuously improving service quality.
Problem-Solving & Stakeholder Management:
Ability to identify issues, analyze options, and implement effective solutions.
Skilled in communication, relationship-building, negotiation, conflict resolution, and strategic thinking to engage diverse stakeholders.
Manage administrative and logistical functions of the project, including daily operations, tour scheduling, and arranging necessary resources to ensure exceptional customer service.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including local vendors, accommodation providers, travel operators, and service partners.
Oversee reservation calendar updates and ensure efficient booking operations for Otithi customers.
Coordinate partner payments, manage documentation, and enforce service-level agreements.
Monitor customer feedback from booking to post-tour and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement mitigation strategies and recommend upgrades and resource needs.
Develop and enforce a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for sustainable tourism practices that are scalable and replicable across governance structures.
Manage the project’s budget through accurate monitoring, bookkeeping, and timely financial reporting.
Handle cancellations or modifications to client arrangements, and assist the marketing team as needed.
Stay informed on tourism industry regulations and best practices to ensure full compliance with legal and industry standards.
Oversee souvenir arrangement and management to enhance visitor experiences.
Ensure the protection of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, or exploitation to meet the safeguarding objectives of the program.
Serve as a key point of support and expertise in safeguarding matters, helping create a secure and inclusive work environment.
Promote and enforce safeguarding policies among all team members and ensure standards are applied in every action.
Follow the established safeguarding reporting procedure in the event of any reportable incidents and encourage others to do the same.
