Responsibilities & Context

  • Lead and manage end-to-end sales operations for the company’s products and services within the designated territory, ensuring achievement of business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales growth by maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Conduct regular market visits to dealers, distributors, retailers, competitor outlets, and farmers in accordance with approved territory coverage and route plans.
  • Strengthen dealer engagement by ensuring high-quality customer service, effective channel management, and long-term business relationships.
  • Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the performance of the sales team, ensuring alignment with sales targets, operational standards, and company policies.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop field sales personnel to enhance productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Plan and organize dealer conferences, product demonstrations, farmer awareness programs, technical seminars, and promotional events to increase brand visibility and market penetration.
  • Provide technical product support, application guidance, and advisory services to farmers, dealers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify untapped market opportunities, expansion areas, and potential channel partners to increase distribution coverage and market share.
  • Recruit, develop, and onboard new dealers, agents, and distribution partners, including potential candidates from competitor networks.
  • Maintain continuous communication with dealers, field staff, line managers, and regional teams regarding product updates, promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and company policies.
  • Monitor credit sales activities, ensure timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintain compliance with approved credit control policies and collection targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer feedback, and sales performance data to support strategic decision-making and business development initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, market intelligence reports, collection reports, territory visit reports, and other management information reports within required timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, sales procedures, and operational guidelines while performing additional responsibilities assigned by management.
