Additional Requirements

Proven experience in AR/VR development with a strong portfolio of projects in Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms.
Proficient in programming languages such as C#, C++, or JavaScript.
Skilled in 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya) with experience integrating models into AR/VR environments.
Knowledgeable in AR platforms like ARKit, ARCore, or Vuforia, as well as VR systems such as Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, or HoloLens.
Experienced in spatial mapping, motion tracking, and real-time rendering within AR/VR settings.
Understanding of healthcare-related AR/VR applications is advantageous.
Background in healthcare or medical technology is preferred.
Knowledgeable in medical imaging technologies (e.g., DICOM) and integrating them into AR/VR platforms.
Familiar with AI and machine learning techniques for image recognition and surgical guidance.

Responsibilities & Context

Design and develop AR/VR applications for surgical planning, simulation, and real-time assistance using platforms like Unity and Unreal Engine.
Collaborate with surgeons, medical professionals, and product teams to understand surgical workflows and translate them into immersive AR/VR solutions.
Create and integrate 3D models, animations, and interactive elements to enable real-time, immersive experiences.
Implement and optimize AR/VR features for performance and accuracy, ensuring seamless experiences in critical medical settings.
Integrate hardware components, including AR headsets (e.g., Microsoft HoloLens) and VR systems (e.g., Oculus), with software applications.
Work closely with UI/UX designers to develop intuitive interfaces for surgeons and medical staff.
Partner with QA engineers to test, troubleshoot, and enhance the reliability of AR/VR applications.
Stay informed on the latest AR/VR technologies, trends, and tools, suggesting improvements for the product development process.
Ensure all applications comply with healthcare industry standards, including data security and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
