Education


  • Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor of Science (BSc), B.Sc. in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering from any reputed university.
  • Diploma, in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering for highly experienced candidate.

Experience


  • 6 Year

Additional Requirements


  • At least 6 years experience in large scale knit composite garments industries.
  • Must be Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and E-mail and Internet operation.
  • Candidate living near Narayanganj will be added as advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee operations for Barnali Textile & Printing Industries (Pvt.) Ltd and Barnali Collections Ltd with integrity and professionalism.
  • Maintain 100% honesty and transparency in all aspects of work.
  • Possess extensive expertise in knit dye house machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Manage utility systems across knitting, dyeing, garments, and printing operations.
  • Stay updated on advanced technology and cost-control techniques to optimize efficiency.
  • Knowledge of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) management and solar plant operations will be an added advantage.
  • Lead new project management, development, machine erection, and operations.
  • Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize machinery breakdowns.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols for both machinery operation and worker protection.
  • Monitor electrical connections and load distribution, taking proactive steps to mitigate risks.
  • Possess strong skills in estimating and budgeting for electromechanical items, machinery, and projects.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities for each machine.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability while avoiding excessive stockpiling.
  • Oversee cleanliness and proper upkeep of all machinery, both internally and externally.
  • Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure all electrical and mechanical installations comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Possess expertise in knit composite machinery erection and installation.
  • Strong knowledge of boiler, generator, and substation maintenance.
