Produce Quality Photographs and Videography for Islamic Relief Bangladesh (65%)

• Capture high-quality photos and videos of assigned projects, documenting various phases and activities in designated field locations.
• Frame shots and compose photos/videos that are visually engaging and consistent with the organization's messaging and branding.
• Add video subtitles into a Word document, including timestamps.
• Utilize professional cameras, video equipment, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop) effectively.
• Edit photos and videos to enhance quality, incorporate branding elements, and ensure a professional output.
• Convey compelling stories through visuals, ensuring that photos and videos accurately represent the project's impact and purpose.
• Understand copyright laws, privacy issues, and ethical considerations when capturing and sharing media.
• Maintain digital media archives, including photos and videos.

Develop Media and Communication Materials for Islamic Relief Bangladesh (20%)

• Create innovative, high-quality designs and produce various publication materials, including newsletters, brochures, fact sheets, stories, information packs, banners, billboards, posters, leaflets, and signboards related to EEGP projects, ensuring timely distribution to all stakeholders.
• Develop and disseminate content for social media kits.
• Write fresh web content for the Islamic Relief Bangladesh website.
• Maintain an active and engaging presence on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn, generating creative ideas to expand reach and engage a broader audience through effective use of social media.
• Ensure brand visibility for Islamic Relief Bangladesh by incorporating the organizational logo into all publications and visibility materials.
• Conceptualize, design, and implement major information campaigns.
• Build strong relationships with media representatives to showcase Islamic Relief activities and maintain an updated media database.
• Utilize photos, videos, and text effectively to inform and engage both local and international audiences.

Raise Awareness and Secure Support for Islamic Relief Bangladesh (10%)

• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with relevant journalists and broadcasters in the country.
• Support advocacy initiatives and campaigns of Islamic Relief.
• Liaise and network with core media personnel and journalists to foster partnerships between the country office and media houses for advocacy support.
• Assist Islamic Relief in establishing purposeful relationships and liaisons with government institutions, research organizations, academic institutions, like-minded organizations, and other NGOs to develop potential advocacy coalitions. Represent Islamic Relief Bangladesh in various campaigns and forums as needed.
• Identify advocacy and communications focal points within the organization and PNGOs, regularly sharing all communications and advocacy-related interventions with them.

Other Duties (5%)

• Participate in and engage with seasonal programs (e.g., Ramadan, Qurbani, Winterization).
• Willingness to travel frequently for extended periods to remote project areas.
• Ensure the safety of team members from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, exploitation, fraud, bribery, and money laundering, contributing to the program's safeguarding goals. Serve as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding issues to establish a safe working environment.
• As a member of Islamic Relief, a child-friendly organization, each staff member has the core responsibility to understand and comply with the IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as required.
• Perform additional tasks and visits to projects supported by IR Canada as assigned by the supervisor or management.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
