Support the receiving, storage, and dispatch processes of goods at the depot.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including stock records and inward/outward registers.
Monitor inventory levels regularly to avoid stock shortages or excess accumulation.
Perform routine stock audits and carry out physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and adherence to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory practices.
Identify and report any stock inconsistencies, taking necessary steps to resolve discrepancies.
Supervise depot personnel, such as clerks, forklift operators, and loaders, ensuring efficient operations.
Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within the facility.
Conduct safety checks and address any hazards or non-compliance issues promptly.
Keep the depot clean, orderly, and well-organized at all times.
Generate and maintain daily or weekly reports on stock status, dispatches, and operational challenges.
Oversee the maintenance and functionality of warehouse tools and equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
