Supplier Ledger Reconciliation:
  • Reconcile supplier ledgers and ensure that balances are agreed upon by both parties.
VAT & TAX Compliance:
  • Ensure that all procurement processes are VAT and TAX compliant, adhering to regulatory requirements.
ERP System Knowledge:
  • Possess strong analytical and practical knowledge of the ERP system to efficiently manage procurement processes.
Garment Materials Sourcing:
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and expertise in sourcing garment materials, ensuring the procurement of high-quality and cost-effective supplies.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Procurement Cycle Management:
  • Plan, organize, control, and manage the entire procurement process to ensure a surplus supply chain.
  • Strategy Development:
  • Develop dynamic, cost-effective, and innovative procurement strategies to meet organizational needs.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis:
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to implement effective procurement strategies.
  • Staff Supervision and Coordination:
  • Provide overall supervision and coordination of procurement staff and activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Vendor Negotiation:
  • Communicate and negotiate with vendors to secure profitable deals, ensuring favorable terms and pricing.
  • Budget Control:
  • Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term cost savings in procurement.
  • Supplier and Vendor Management:
  • Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors, building strong relationships for continued supply.
  • Inter-Departmental Coordination:
  • Coordinate with other departments to validate and ensure appropriate material requisitions.
  • Stock Management:
  • Oversee and monitor the stock levels of raw materials, refractories, and consumables to ensure optimum inventory levels.
  • Vendor Selection and Negotiation:
  • Review comparative statements (CS) and assist management in selecting vendors, ensuring the best deals in terms of product quality, quantity, and service levels.
