Assistant Engineer/ Engineer (Solar System)

Basic understanding of solar PV technology, inverters, charge controllers, batteries, and grid-tied/off-grid systems.

Knowledge of electrical wiring, protection devices, earthing, and safety standards.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, PVsyst, or similar solar design software is preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, along with technical report writing.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Willingness to travel and work at project sites.

Ability to work independently and complete tasks within deadlines.

Support the design and configuration of solar PV systems, including load assessment, system capacity calculation, and selection of appropriate components.

Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies, including shading assessments and structural evaluations.

Assist in supervising the installation of solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting systems, and electrical wiring.

Participate in system testing, commissioning, and final project handover.

Carry out regular system inspections, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

Prepare technical documentation, including reports, BOQs, single-line diagrams, and project-related records.

Coordinate with technical teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.

Maintain compliance with workplace safety requirements, company guidelines, and relevant industry regulations.

Track solar system performance and communicate technical issues, observations, and improvement recommendations to senior engineers.
