Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and management of the procurement department's daily operations.
  • Utilize ERP software to manage procurement processes, including purchase requisition management, RFQ management, purchase order creation, approval workflows, spend management, and vendor management.
  • Focus on sourcing, vendor development, and conducting negotiations to purchase quality materials at competitive prices.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and secure favorable agreements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Visit markets to procure products directly from suppliers at competitive prices.
  • Prepare monthly or periodic reports as instructed by management.
