Evaluate, and monitor the factory’s compliance with environmental, chemical, and buyer COC regulations and standards;
Follow up on industry-leading standards and initiatives such as HIGG FEM, Clean Chain, GRI SBTi, RCS, GRS, OCS, GOTS, OEKO-TEX 100, and Step by OEKO-TEX;
Responsible to make and implement Compliance polices as per local law and different buyers code of conducts;
Should have sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Law and ILO convention Relevant on RMG sector in Bangladesh;
To prepare factory for facing different audit such as Better Work, SCAN & Buyer COC Standard, social, ethical & environmental (Higg);
Observance of day to day Compliance related activities in the Factory;
To monitor training/awareness on regular basis;
To ensure Fire, Health & Safety issues are in order;
Follow-up of post audit activities and take appropriate action by sending CAP (Corrective Action Plan) as per Buyer’s Requirement;
To monitor Trade union activities, Meeting, Complete Minutes of Meeting and circulate it to all the members for further steps;
Ensure & Advise Counseling/ Welfare Officer for the preparation & payment of Maternity Benefits within the scheduled time as per law;
Conduct Meeting with Health & Safety Committee and circulate the Minutes of Meeting;
Communicate with BGMEA, Compliance Auditors, Fire & Civil defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, and Labor Federation etc.
To perform any other task as assigned by the management from time to time.
