Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following sectors: Group of Companies, Immigration/Visa Processing, IT-enabled Services, Share Brokerage/Securities, Software Companies, Telecommunications, Training Institutes, or Venture Capital Firms.
Additional Requirements:
- Age: 28 to 45 years
- Gender: Male candidates only
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; partly-qualified CA/ACCA candidates will be considered an advantage.
- Experience: 5–10 years in MIS, reporting, and bookkeeping; preference for experience in IT, software, multi-business, or service-oriented organizations.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis); hands-on experience with accounting or ERP systems.
- Analytical & Reporting Skills: Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Work Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Communication & Coordination: Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Personal Attributes: High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities & Context
1. MIS & Management Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain periodic MIS reports for management review.
- Develop company-wise financial reports and dashboards.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and KPIs.
- Generate customized financial reports as required by management.
2. Bookkeeping & Accounting:
- Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping of all financial transactions.
- Maintain general ledger, journals, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Reconcile bank statements, receivables, payables, and intercompany transactions.
- Track expenses, vendor bills, and payment schedules.
3. Financial Control & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Assist in internal and external audits, providing all required documentation.
- Maintain proper records to support audits and management reviews.
4. Budgeting & Cost Monitoring:
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts across group entities.
- Monitor budget vs actual performance and report variances to management.
- Support cost control and financial planning initiatives.
5. System & Process Improvement:
- Support automation and enhancement of MIS and accounting processes.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data in ERP/accounting systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve reporting efficiency and data integrity.
