Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Planning

✔ Production Planning Expertise: Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, line loading, Fast React (FR), T&A, shipment planning, and order execution.

✔ Garment Manufacturing Knowledge: Good understanding of garment manufacturing processes, production operations, and factory planning activities.

✔ Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills with the ability to handle production-related challenges effectively.

✔ MS Excel & Planning Tools: Good command of MS Excel and production planning/reporting tools for data analysis, monitoring, and reporting.

✔ Work Under Pressure: Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet production and shipment deadlines.

This position will be responsible for managing production planning, capacity planning, order loading, Fast React (FR), and production performance to optimize resources, ensure smooth production, achieve timely shipment, control costs, and meet overall business targets.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Prepare and maintain production plans, capacity plans, order booking, loading plans, and line plans based on order status, available resources, and shipment requirements.

✔ Monitor daily production against the planned targets, identify root causes of deviations, and implement appropriate corrective and recovery actions.

✔ Manage Fast React (FR), push-pull production, line loading/opening, style changeovers, and production plan changes to ensure efficient workflow and production continuity.

✔ Monitor orders, shipment schedules, PCD, production status, capacity, and RM (Raw Material) status, identify potential delays, and develop necessary extension or recovery plans.

✔ Coordinate with SCM, Store, Merchandising, Sample Room, and Production teams regarding fabric, trims, RM availability, inventory, receiving, and other production requirements.

✔ Prepare and circulate CP, production, RM, shipment, capacity/loading, PCD, line opening, style changeover, plan change/CM impact, 14-day challenge, booking, and YTD sales reports accurately and on time.

✔ Attend daily CP meetings, lead team meetings, communicate critical planning and production issues to HOD/management, and ensure timely resolution.

✔ Lead the Production Planning team and ensure timely execution, optimum resource utilization, on-time delivery, production efficiency, profitability, and continuous process improvement.
