• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dyes and Chemicals Store Manager to oversee the management and distribution of dyes, chemicals, and other related materials in our production process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient stock control, accurate documentation, safety compliance, and smooth coordination with suppliers, ensuring production needs are met in a timely manner.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory flow, including monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly updates.
• Submit inventory and consumption records to the appropriate authorities for review and analysis.
• Inventory Management:
• Ensure all received and distributed chemicals are properly documented, including consumption records.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are monitored and requisitions are made in a timely manner before stocks run out.
• Regularly check and ensure the minimum stock levels are met, preventing stock-outs.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead, guide, and supervise all store personnel to ensure the smooth functioning of the store department.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure tasks are efficiently completed according to departmental and production requirements.
• Supplier Coordination & Receiving Materials:
• Follow-up with suppliers for day-to-day requirements, ensuring timely receipt of materials such as dyes, chemicals, and other supplies.
• Handle the receiving of store materials, accessories, and chemicals from local and foreign suppliers in accordance with purchase approval documents.
• Dyes & Chemical Management:
• Oversee the proper distribution of dyes and chemicals to the production floor based on requisitions and inventory reports.
• Check and forward monthly dyes and chemical receiving and consumption statements to higher management for costing and analysis.
• Space Management & Organization:
• Plan and organize the strategic arrangement of the dyes and chemicals store to ensure easy access, proper storage, and efficient space utilization.
• Safety, Compliance & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that safety guidelines, quality standards, and compliance procedures are followed in the workplace to maintain a safe working environment.
• Regularly inspect safety, quality, and compliance activities within the store department.
• Material Distribution & Documentation:
• Ensure that the distribution of dyes, chemicals, and other materials to the production floor is properly documented.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and ensure proper distribution in line with production requisitions.
• Other Duties:
• Perform any other duties assigned by management related to the store department or inventory management.
• Key Qualifications:
• Proven experience in inventory management, especially in the textile or garment industry, with a focus on dyes and chemicals.
• Strong knowledge of store operations, including receiving, stock control, and documentation.
• Ability to lead and manage a team of store personnel to ensure smooth department functioning.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety, compliance, and quality assurance protocols in a manufacturing environment.
