Additional Requirements

Education:
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Engineering (BEngg), or a Diploma in Supply Chain Management.

Experience:
5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Group of Companies, or Electric Wire/Cable industries.

Additional Requirements:

  • Age between 30 and 40 years
  • Male candidates only
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory control, and local sourcing
  • Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities & Context

Procurement Management:
Source and select local suppliers for materials, goods, and services, ensuring timely purchasing and delivery to support business operations.

Vendor Coordination:
Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Quotation & Price Negotiation:
Collect and review supplier quotations, compare offers based on price, quality, and lead time, and negotiate to obtain the most favorable terms.

Order Processing:
Prepare and process purchase orders accurately, ensuring correct pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules in line with company needs.

Inventory Monitoring:
Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory.

Quality Control:
Ensure all procured goods and materials meet the company’s required quality standards and specifications.

Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts, and prepare regular reports on purchasing performance.

Supplier Performance Evaluation:
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance regularly, resolving issues and implementing improvements when necessary.

Budget & Cost Control:
Track procurement expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Compliance:
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.

Collaboration:
Work closely with Finance, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure efficient coordination and smooth business operations.

Additional Responsibilities:
Carry out any other procurement-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
