  • Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or pharmacy operations, preferably in Bangladesh or the healthcare sector.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Experience in managing operations across multiple locations/divisions within Bangladesh is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with local and international pharmaceutical logistics and regulations is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teams across different regions.

Responsibilities & Context

Logistics and Order Management:

  • Manage the logistics operations for pharmacy shops across different divisions of Bangladesh, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and distribution centers to ensure the seamless supply of pharmaceutical products to the pharmacy shops.
  • Oversee the preparation, dispatch, and tracking of orders, ensuring all deliveries meet deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Monitor and track all order shipments, resolving any delays, issues, or discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain a detailed inventory system, ensuring accurate product stock levels at all pharmacy locations.
Division-Wise Operations Management:
  • Work closely with pharmacy shop managers and operational teams across multiple divisions to ensure that each location has the required products in stock.
  • Identify and address any challenges related to logistics or inventory shortages at the division level.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain and procurement teams to forecast product demand and adjust supply plans accordingly.
Vendor and Supplier Coordination:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of pharmacy products.
  • Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and monitor vendor performance to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Coordinate returns and exchanges of faulty or expired products, working closely with suppliers and internal teams.
Inventory and Stock Management:
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory levels at each pharmacy location to ensure stock accuracy and minimize stock outs.
  • Implement and monitor inventory control processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Oversee stock rotation practices to prevent product expiration and ensure optimal shelf life of pharmaceutical products.
Reporting and Data Management:
  • Generate and maintain reports on logistics performance, stock levels, order status, and delivery timelines.
  • Provide regular updates to the senior management team regarding order fulfillment status and any operational challenges.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive continuous improvement in logistics and inventory management practices.
