Ensure that incubation procedures are properly and consistently implemented to achieve optimal hatchability rates and superior chick quality.
Enforce strict biosecurity measures, and supervise comprehensive cleaning and disinfection of all hatchery facilities to minimize the risk of disease outbreaks.
Oversee the correct storage, handling, and movement of eggs in a clean, bio-secure environment from the point of collection to setting and transfer.
Guarantee that chicks are hatched under ideal environmental conditions and handled with minimal stress to uphold top standards of quality and animal welfare.
Conduct regular training sessions for hatchery staff to enhance performance, compliance with protocols, and knowledge of hatchery operations.
Provide effective leadership and management for the hatchery team, oversee daily activities, maintain accurate operational records, and ensure smooth coordination with other departments.
