Responsibilities & Context

Responsibilities – Rehabilitation:

  • Monitor and follow up with ex-CRP patients to ensure successful reintegration into the community.

  • Organize awareness campaigns, sessions, and events in coordination with CRP departments, community projects, government and non-governmental organizations, and international bodies.

  • Conduct home visits and assess patients’ eligibility, needs, and appropriate rehabilitation services.

  • Assist in developing comprehensive individual rehabilitation plans and ensure continuity of therapeutic care after discharge.

  • Arrange and provide assistive devices as required.

  • Establish community referral networks for patient services.

  • Coordinate with teams to collect and preserve educational, social, medical, psychological, and vocational data from patients, families, and community programs.

  • Collaborate with the community to establish programs and facilities for people with disabilities.

  • Support healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and counselors, as needed.

Responsibilities – Social Welfare & Counseling:

  • Ensure timely support for deserving patients through proper assessment by the Social Welfare Department.

  • Maintain organized records and reports for transparency and accountability.

  • Facilitate counseling for socio-economic reintegration of patients.

  • Provide timely access to assistive devices and other necessary support.

  • Conduct community-based counseling events, peer counseling, and caregiver training sessions.

Responsibilities – Sports, Halfway Hostel & Vocational Training:

  • Conduct regular ward rounds with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Organize sports and recreational activities for patients.

  • Coordinate with internal and external departments for rehabilitation-focused events.

  • Ensure effective implementation of training plans at the Vocational Training Institute (VTI).

  • Support athletes in mental preparation, coping with setbacks, and skill development.

  • Facilitate group workshops on performance analysis and mental skill enhancement in sports.

Responsibilities – Project Management:

  • Assist in preparing project proposals, implementation plans, and activity schedules.

  • Consolidate weekly, monthly, half-yearly, and annual activity plans for CRP projects and share them with stakeholders.

  • Engage community leaders, beneficiaries, government officials, and NGOs to support project implementation.

  • Organize and participate in project coordination meetings.

Responsibilities – Academic Affairs:

  • Provide academic support to CRP as required.

  • Act as a resource person on disability-related issues.

  • Contribute to the development of manuals, publications, and knowledge repositories.

  • Support interns and facilitate knowledge sharing within the Rehabilitation Wing.

Responsibilities – Administrative Affairs:

  • Participate in internal and external meetings as required.

  • Maintain accurate records, including rehabilitation plans, follow-up visits, and progress reports.

  • Document multidisciplinary care plans and records.

  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with team members, physicians, therapists, and government departments.

  • Obtain necessary approvals for budgets, equipment, transport, and supplies.

Responsibilities – Human Resource Management:

  • Oversee staff performance evaluations, setting measurable goals.

  • Support professional growth and training of Rehabilitation Wing staff.

  • Ensure timely confirmation, contract renewals, and payments of employees.

  • Conduct training for staff and local school teachers on disability, rehabilitation, accessibility, stigma, community participation, and human rights.

Other Duties:

  • Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned by the office in line with organizational needs.
