Responsibilities & Context

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Storage & Management: Oversee the storage and management of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products, ensuring inventory is organized, accurate, and easily accessible for production needs.
  • Stock Control: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, products, and supplies. Perform regular stock audits to ensure proper stock levels are maintained, meeting production requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and guide store department staff, ensuring they adhere to safety guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and efficient work practices.
  • Material Handling: Coordinate and manage the movement of materials between production units and storage areas, ensuring safe and efficient handling of all materials at all times.
  • Order Fulfillment: Collaborate with production and other departments to ensure materials are available when needed and customer orders are processed and dispatched on time.
  • Recordkeeping & Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records of stock movements, inventory reports, and material consumption. Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding inventory levels and stock movements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement best practices and systems to improve inventory accuracy, reduce waste, and enhance the overall efficiency of the store department.
