  • 4 - 6 years of experience in supplier sourcing, selection, and pricing negotiations, with a focus on sustainability.
  • Proven track record of building supplier partnerships and achieving cost and sustainability targets.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability certifications, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Supplier Identification and Evaluation
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for materials and services based on business needs.
  • Assess supplier capabilities, pricing, and market positioning to establish a pool of preferred vendors.
  • Facilitate supplier onboarding processes, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Pricing and Negotiations
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing and terms for materials and services.
  • Develop cost models and analyze market trends to inform negotiation strategies.
  • Ensure agreements achieve a balanced focus on cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Sourcing Sustainable Raw Materials
  • Develop strategies to source sustainable materials and ensure supplier compliance with sustainability practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing decisions with organizational sustainability goals.
  • Strategic Supplier Management
  • Partner with procurement and business teams to establish long-term, strategic supplier relationships.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Provide regular feedback to suppliers and foster relationships that enhance service delivery.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends in pricing, supply availability, and technological advancements.
  • Develop sourcing strategies based on market intelligence to mitigate risks and identify opportunities.
  • Cost Optimization
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and drive cost reductions.
  • Regularly review procurement operations to ensure budget compliance and uncover further optimization opportunities.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure all supplier contracts and transactions adhere to legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
  • Lead efforts to address and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance and market fluctuations.
  • Team Leadership and Development
  • Oversee team performance and provide constructive feedback to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Promote collaboration across teams to enhance engagement, productivity, and performance.
