Responsibilities & Context

  • Participate actively in pre-production meetings.
  • Track sample production progress.
  • Oversee line feeding and related processes.
  • Monitor (TOP, shipping, rack, testing, etc.) sample developments.
  • Address fabric issues with suppliers (e.g., GSM, shade variation, or fabric defects).
  • Track fabric shrinkage status.
  • Follow up on size set adjustments.
  • Provide corrective actions for any cutting issues.
  • Coordinate with embellishment teams for any decoration concerns.
  • Review initial line output, provide feedback, and grant approvals.
  • Highlight key style points to the QA team.
  • Track finishing returns and audit pass rates; discuss results with sewing teams.
  • Consult with merchandisers or buyers as needed for approvals.
  • Continuously address customer safety concerns.
  • In case of multiple audit failures, discuss improvement steps with the team.
  • Monitor DHU% and finishing returns, implementing corrective actions as required.
  • Oversee pre-final audits and review in-line findings with relevant personnel.
  • For significant defect quantities (e.g., shading or measurement issues), work with sewing teams for resolutions.
  • Provide guidance and training to the QA team.
  • Observe processes for improvement opportunities and discuss recommendations with top management for execution.
