Additional Requirements
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in internal audit, risk management, internal control, or compliance functions within a banking environment.
Possession of relevant professional certifications such as CIA, CA, CMA, IAP, ACCA, CERM, CISA, CEAF, CPAI, or CFE will be strongly preferred.
Candidates with strong hands-on experience in regulatory and risk frameworks—including Risk-Based Supervision (RBS), Expected Credit Loss (ECL) under IFRS 9, Basel III, stress testing, GAAP, the IIA Internal Audit Framework, and data analytics—will be given priority.
Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, confidentiality, and objectivity.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Conduct Risk-Based Internal Audits (RBIA) covering operational and financial activities across Branches, Head Office divisions, departments, units, and subsidiaries to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports with clear, accurate findings and practical, value-added recommendations.
Support the Chief Auditor and respective Unit Heads in identifying key risk areas, developing the annual audit plan, and executing audits in alignment with approved plans to ensure robust risk coverage.
Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors and relevant stakeholders to address compliance and audit-related requirements.
