  • Knowledge of Labor Laws: Must be familiar with both local and international labor laws.

  • Expertise in Social Auditing Standards: Familiarity with globally recognized social auditing frameworks such as BSCI, SA8000, and ILO standards is highly desirable.

  • Strong Bilingual Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bangla.

  • Project and Data Management Proficiency: Skilled in project management and data handling.

  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make effective decisions.

  • Willingness to Travel for Field Visits: Must be flexible to conduct frequent field visits as needed.


Responsibilities & Context

  • Plan, Coordinate, and Oversee Social Compliance Initiatives: Manage compliance operations for Independent Producers, Ayesha Abed Foundation, and other production centers.

  • Establish and Maintain Audit Schedules and Documentation: Develop and regularly update audit schedules, checklists, and reports to monitor production units.

  • Enhance Compliance and Efficiency through CAP Monitoring: Create and implement strategies to improve social compliance and operational effectiveness, with a focus on Corrective Action Plan (CAP) oversight.

  • Conduct Training Programs on Compliance Standards: Design and deliver training sessions for Independent Producers, artisans, and administrative teams on compliance standards and best practices.

  • Raise Compliance Awareness through Developmental Efforts: Foster understanding of compliance requirements via targeted educational and developmental activities.

  • Track Compliance Progress: Monitor compliance efforts and assess progress toward established benchmarks and goals.

  • Compile Detailed Reports on Compliance Findings: Document audit results, compliance status, and corrective actions in thorough reports.

  • Provide Management with Regular Compliance Updates: Deliver periodic reports and updates to senior management on compliance matters and progress achieved.
