Education


  • Bachelor/Honors, from reputed institutions.
  • Masters, Master of Business Administration (MBA), in HRM.

  • In-depth understanding of all HR functions, administrative and industrial relations activities, and payroll management.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Analyze the organization's current and future staffing needs to develop a strategic recruitment plan.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create accurate and compelling job descriptions that attract qualified candidates.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and networking events, to source candidates while promoting the organization's employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Review applications, conduct interviews, assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the organization.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future openings.
  • Organize and coordinate orientation programs for new hires and intern students.
  • Liaise with universities and institutions to manage the internship program.
  • Compile training needs from annual appraisals, plan and design the annual training schedule for management and graded staff, and ensure timely implementation.
  • Assist in preparing and updating job descriptions for all positions as needed.
  • Support the Head of HR in conducting succession planning.
  • Manage various employee reward and recognition programs.
  • Assist in developing and implementing competitive HR policies.
  • Assist the Head of HR in handling HR-related legal and statutory matters.
  • Plan and organize employee engagement and health & wellbeing activities.

HR Services:

  • Prepare various internal letters, including confirmation, transfer, release, experience certificates, loan certificates, training certificates, and warning letters.
  • Issue salary and introductory letters.
  • Manage reporting for accounts month-end closing tasks, including gratuity, provident fund (PF), Workers' Profit Participation Fund (WPPF), taxes, and bonus provisions.

Employee Payroll:

  • Administer payroll for management and non-management staff.
  • Oversee monthly payroll processing for non-management staff, including data entry related to overtime, shifts, officiating, deductions, loan adjustments, reconciliation, and payroll reporting.
  • Resolve payroll-related queries and generate payslips, coordinating distribution with administrative teams at different locations.
  • Coordinate with Finance for accounting, auditing, and taxation purposes.
  • Manage employee benefits such as annual allowances, festival bonuses, incentive bonuses, loans, leave encashment, and reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on month-end payroll reporting.

Industrial Relations:

  • Provide input on the formulation and implementation of employee relations strategies and policies.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to resolve employee relations issues and offer expert advice.
  • Monitor industrial relations trends and pressures, preparing necessary reports for the company and country-level IR environment.
  • Assist the Head of HR in negotiating and implementing long-term agreements (LTA) and resolving issues with union representatives to maintain a positive industrial relations environment.
  • Negotiate with unions on local issues and implement necessary changes in consultation with the Country Managing Director.
  • Coordinate logistics for important visitors, including arranging airport passes, accommodation, and transportation during their stay.
