  • A Bachelor Degree (preferably B.Sc in Textile) from any reputed university
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the Quality Control Department within the RMG sector or a similar organization.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance: Familiar with fabric washing systems, following standards, and the 4-point fabric inspection system.
  • Understanding of Production Process: Strong understanding of the textile and garment production process, including fabric inspection, cutting, and washing (color bleeding).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and write detailed reports.
  • Innovative Thinking: Ability to think creatively to improve existing processes and procedures, contributing to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Follow and Maintain SOPs: Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both the process and finished product quality, ensuring they meet required standards.
  • Conduct 100% Inspection: Perform thorough inspection of every consignment, focusing on color bleeding tests, styling, measurements, and other quality aspects in comparison to the approved sample.
  • Inspect Raw Materials and Accessories: Ensure that raw materials and accessories meet the required quality standards.
  • Identify and Resolve Defects: Detect defects, focus on problem-solving initiatives to address issues efficiently.
  • Monitor Inspection Levels: Oversee various inspection stages, including inline, pre-final, and final inspections.
  • Vendor Factory Visits: Frequently visit vendor factories when necessary to ensure quality standards are being met.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of defects, implement preventive actions to reduce garment faults, and assess customer feedback to improve quality control.
