Responsibilities & Context

Applications are invited for the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, Department of Clinical and Hospital Pharmacy, and Department of Pharmaceutical Technology under the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPS) at USTC, following the university’s prevailing terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accordance with USTC regulations.
  • Conduct research, organize faculty workshops, and foster national and international academic collaborations.
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with UGC, BAC, BPC, and other relevant authorities.
  • Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, lecture materials, tutorials, and schedules; deliver theoretical, tutorial, and laboratory classes, along with extension teaching, research, and field activities.
  • Administer examinations and carry out related tasks.
  • Supervise and guide students in projects, internships, dissertations, and theses.
  • Mentor students in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • Perform administrative duties assigned by the কর্তৃপক্ষ from time to time.
  • Uphold academic discipline and standards, manage student affairs, and fulfill responsibilities in line with the Private University Act 2010.
  • Engage in research and scholarly work, including publications, to advance knowledge in the relevant fields.
