  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Counsel and motivate employees to improve productivity, reduce defects, and minimize absenteeism, lateness, early departures, and resignations.
  • Encourage employees to adhere to company rules and regulations.
  • Conduct induction and orientation programs for newly recruited employees.
  • Organize and conduct various training programs, maintaining proper records.
  • Liaise with different committee members (e.g., PC Committee, EHS Committee) as required.
  • Conduct surveys on various workplace issues as per management requirements.
  • Handle employee grievances, investigate concerns, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Prepare grievance reports, maintain records, and update both management and employees.
  • Ensure essential worker facilities such as drinking water, safe lunch areas, and clean restrooms.
  • Manage medical cases, including accompanying seriously ill or injured employees to hospitals.
  • Maintain and update the list of pregnant employees, ensuring health monitoring and workload adjustments.
  • Record, report, and follow up on work-related injuries to ensure proper care and compliance.
  • Promote workplace safety by raising awareness to reduce accidents and injuries and motivate employees to use PPE where required.
  • Keep display boards updated, ensuring all policies and records are properly maintained.
  • Manage employee suggestion boxes and maintain records of related programs.
  • Maintain and update the WPC committee records and grievance documentation.
