  • Bachelor/Honors, in Fashion Design & Technology from any reputed university.

Experience

  • Adobe illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience in product design, particularly in export-focused apparel (Denim) industry, is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in software like Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D design tools such as CLO or Vstitcher to create digital models, illustrations, embroidery patterns, prints, and accessory designs.
  • Understanding of garment assembly, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with basic finishing techniques.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines and managing high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Conduct market research to identify style trends and develop creative design concepts that align with brand identity and customer preferences.
  • Produce detailed technical specifications, including product measurements, material details, and assembly methods.
  • Create initial hand-drawn sketches and refine them into precise digital designs using CAD software.
  • Research and choose suitable fabrics, trims, and embellishments based on design vision, quality benchmarks, and budget constraints.
  • Work closely with pattern developers to create accurate and practical product patterns.
  • Review prototypes and provide constructive feedback to ensure they meet design expectations and quality requirements.
  • Partner with production teams to monitor the manufacturing process, ensuring products meet top quality standards.
  • Resolve any design or technical challenges that arise during production.
  • Stay informed on style trends, industry updates, and new technologies relevant to product design.
  • Skilled in creating mood boards and presenting trends tailored to client requirements.
