• Ensure all accounting activities at the branch comply with company SOPs.
• Handle daily petty cash for routine branch operations.
• Verify and review all bills and vouchers for accuracy and completeness.
• Record all sales transactions accurately in SAP and issue invoices, ensuring full transparency.
• Match daily cash collections with system-recorded sales and promptly address any discrepancies.
• Obtain proper management approval for discounts and commissions, maintaining complete documentation.
• Safely store cash in the designated vault and record all movements in the cash scroll register.
• Coordinate daily banking activities in collaboration with head office, keeping bank deposits separate from daily expenses.
• Administer petty cash disbursements to branches at scheduled intervals in line with company policy.
• Support expense justification through proper requisitions, and oversee verification and approval of routine expenses.
• Obtain approval from head office accounts for any exceptional or additional expenditures.
• Maintain accurate product-related entries in the accounting system, including receipts, returns, issues, and transfers.
• Prepare and send daily MIS reports to central accounts in the prescribed format.
• Print, sign, and secure approval of daily MIS reports from the branch manager or in-charge.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and legal requirements for all financial activities.
• Work closely with team members to enhance financial processes and support efficient, streamlined operations.
