• Strive to achieve monthly and yearly spare parts targets as outlined by the company's goals.
• Determine optimal ordering schedules and quantities based on buffer stock levels, lead times, and customer demand.
• Supervise the spare parts receiving process (GRN), identify discrepancies such as damaged, short, or excess items, and process claims as required.
• Propose process improvements to supervisors and ensure updates are implemented effectively.
• Monitor warehouse operations to maintain zero discrepancies in spare parts inventory and organize regular internal audits to ensure compliance.
• Guide store assistants in proper storage, identification, and documentation of spare parts, ensuring the store is updated as per company guidelines.
• Physically inspect spare parts requiring reordering and report findings through the appropriate channels.
• Analyze market potential based on tractor population and model variations to identify opportunities for growth.
• Establish a nationwide dealer sales and channel network to enhance distribution efficiency.
• Appoint dealers and corporate clients, drafting agreements in accordance with company policies.
• Organize meetings with spare parts dealers and corporate clients to increase retailer sales within surrounding areas.
• Track competitor activities and execute strategic plans to boost market share.
• Coordinate promotional activities and implement dealer/shop branding initiatives to support spare parts dealers and corporate clients.
• Generate and submit necessary reports to supervisors as needed or on-demand.
• Arrange for substitutes to cover duties during the absence of subordinates.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management as required.
