• Oversee production planning and management activities.
• Develop production plans, budgets, and timelines based on production specifications.
• Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and specifications.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.
• Assist in new product development and enhancements.
• Conduct daily meetings to monitor production schedules.
• Ensure finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Determine equipment, materials, and manpower required for production.
• Resolve production issues promptly and escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Ensure the next month's line loading plan is issued at least three days before the start of the month.
• Provide machinery requirements in the line loading plan and issue the total machinery requirements to the maintenance department.
• Submit manpower and styling details according to the production plan to the HR department at least three days before the month begins.
• Prepare a monthly shipment plan for each unit and monitor it with planning officers.
• Participate in weekly order status review meetings and planning meetings on Sundays with relevant department heads to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
• Work to meet the monthly production targets as per building and buyer requirements.
• Take responsibility for effective production planning and efficient implementation.
• Monitor order status and hold regular meetings with merchandising and marketing for order planning. Build strong relationships with the merchandising and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure accurate and optimal capacity planning while focusing on cost reduction and increased profitability.
• Manage production planning staff and coordinate raw material scheduling to meet production timelines.
• Keep updated on production status to ensure it aligns with the production plan. If not, conduct a root cause analysis and provide quick solutions for smooth operations.
• Maintain close relationships with operational teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal utilization of equipment and manpower.
• Review production plans against capacity and strengths while ensuring timely shipment targets.
• Analyze and evaluate production plans and present operational performance reports.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
