Responsibilities & Context

  • Establish, execute, and oversee the company’s quality management system.
  • Define and document all product quality benchmarks based on customer requirements, segmented into textile and apparel categories.
  • Continuously update, document, and communicate these standards to relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement essential quality controls to ensure final products align with customer quality expectations.
  • Review and refine the company’s quality policy, system, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain direct communication with buyers and the quality team for guideline exchanges and issue resolution.
  • Outline roles and responsibilities for quality control and assurance teams, from operators to top management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Train quality teams on role expectations and company standards.
  • Develop and manage the budget for the quality department.
  • Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of quality control and assurance, measuring the department’s impact on final product quality.
  • Assess and adjust quality KPIs in alignment with buyer standards.
  • Analyze monthly KPI data, and coordinate with relevant teams for necessary improvements.
  • Summarize and communicate monthly quality performance reports to the appropriate departments.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in quality systems and procedures.
  • Organize managerial meetings to convey messages from top management or address company-related matters.
  • Oversee annual performance evaluations for all quality department personnel.
  • Manage and review the organizational structure of the quality department.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by management.
