Provide senior-level technical advice and support on environmental matters, including environmental impact assessment, environmental management, and sustainability across projects, programs, and operations.

Identify environmental risks, issues, and interdependencies, and recommend effective risk management strategies to minimise potential impacts.

Deliver strategic guidance on environmental responsibilities, identify training and capability needs, support environmental program development, promote knowledge sharing, and provide environmental education to ensure legislative compliance.

Support and guide project, program, and operational teams in recognising and fulfilling their environmental management accountabilities.

Review environmental management plans, reports, assessments, and related strategies, providing technical input and resolving complex environmental issues as required.

Monitor projects, programs, and operations to ensure environmental and sustainability principles are integrated throughout the full asset and project lifecycle.

Manage the preparation and ongoing administration of environmental contracts in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors, where required.

Oversee the management of NSW Environment Protection Authority licences and monitor environmental practices to ensure regulatory compliance and certification, where applicable.
