• Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with merchandising, pattern-making, and sewing departments to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Resource Allocation: Assign manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently to ensure timely execution of cutting operations.
• Fabric Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of fabrics for defects and color shading before initiating the cutting process.
• Waste Minimization: Verify fabric consumption and implement strategies to reduce wastage during cutting.
• Fabric Preparation: Monitor fabric relaxation processes to ensure stability and prevent shrinkage.
• Cutting Operations Oversight: Supervise fabric spreading, marking, and cutting processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Pattern Accuracy: Ensure precise execution of cutting plans based on approved patterns and specifications.
• Marker Making: Implement effective marker-making techniques to optimize fabric usage.
• Quality Control: Address quality issues promptly to avoid delays in downstream processes.
• SOP Implementation: Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to minimize errors in cutting operations.
• Team Supervision: Lead and manage cutting staff, including operators, helpers, and quality checkers.
• Training & Development: Provide training and guidance to enhance team productivity and technical expertise.
• Workforce Management: Address grievances, maintain discipline, and foster a positive work environment within the team.
• Equipment Maintenance: Monitor the functionality of cutting machines, spreading tables, and other equipment; schedule regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure operators are proficient in using cutting equipment safely and adhere to safety protocols.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in marker making, fabric spreading, and cutting equipment operation.
