Responsibilities & Context

  • Reviewing the production plan in relation to factory capacity and workforce strength, ensuring alignment with shipment targets.
  • Ensuring the production targets for each line are met according to the production plan and maintaining proper line balancing as per the factory layout.
  • Conducting time and motion studies for all styles and creating a Standard Minute Value (SMV) database for all styles.
  • Ensuring the optimum utilization of both manpower and machinery while implementing modern tools and techniques to enhance operational productivity.
  • Preparing weekly Non-Productive Time (NPT) reports and taking actions to reduce NPT where possible.
  • Reviewing operators' skill levels on a monthly basis and ensuring corrective actions are taken, along with recommending training for potential workers.
  • Preparing reconciliation reports for each order to ensure proper tracking and accountability.
  • Preparing quarterly worker assessment reports, using them for both personal and organizational development or improvement.
  • Performing any other tasks as assigned by management.
