Education


  • Bachelor/Honors, in Textile Engineering/ B.Sc. in IPE would be preferable.

Experience


  • 8 Year

  • Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities, with excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to supervise, motivate, and inspire team members to achieve goals.
  • Proficient in both English and Bengali, with strong communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge and skills in computing.
  • Strong technical knowledge in production planning and its SOPs.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for fostering collaboration.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the knit-based garments industry, with at least 5 years in production planning at the central or head office level.
  • 1-2 years of industrial engineering experience is preferred.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee and manage production planning to ensure efficient implementation and smooth operations.
  • Monitor order status, coordinating regularly with merchandising and marketing teams for order planning.
  • Build strong relationships with the merchandising and production teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Ensure accurate capacity planning while focusing on cost reduction and maximizing profitability.
  • Manage production planning staff and oversee raw material scheduling to meet production timelines.
  • Continuously track production status and perform root cause analysis to resolve issues quickly for smooth operations.
  • Maintain close relationships with operational teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal utilization of equipment and manpower.
  • Review production plans, ensuring alignment with capacity and strength, while meeting shipment targets.
  • Analyze and evaluate production plans and present performance evaluations for operational improvements.
