  • Good writing and oral Communication skills particularly in Bangla and English.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee the technical team to ensure the production of high-quality samples, enhancing the company’s reputation.
  • Develop and implement an ethical compliance business strategy that upholds exceptional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety requirements, test reporting, product development, and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and maintain buyer-specific technical requirements while adhering to the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Achieve daily sample section targets and efficiency goals.
  • Adhere to the monthly Sample Time & Action (T&A) plan and meet on-time Planned Cut Dates (PCD).
  • Manage all aspects of pattern-making, marker creation, quality control, and sample development, ensuring clear communication with suppliers and buying offices while following the critical path.
  • Analyze reports, provide production management updates on approvals and risk assessments, and highlight potential risks.
  • Possess strong knowledge of common manufacturing and washing standard issues and errors.
  • Optimize fabric consumption to achieve over 90% marker efficiency while minimizing costs.
  • Conduct risk assessment meetings for every development to ensure production feasibility.
  • Guide and provide insights to merchandising and marketing teams regarding the performance and quality of outsourced suppliers and service providers.
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for the technical and sample departments, including on-time submission, sample approval rates, and marker efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain effective administrative policies within the department.
  • Promote and sustain the 5S philosophy to enhance workplace organization and efficiency.
  • Conduct training and development programs for department staff and workers to continuously improve skills and performance.
