• Expertise in Costing and Merchandising: Proficient in costing, merchandising, and possessing technical knowledge of knit fabrics and garments.
• Effective Communication Skills: Ability to manage multiple clients, orders, and styles simultaneously through strong communication.
• Customer Satisfaction Focus: Committed to achieving customer satisfaction through effective production planning and timely shipping of goods.
• Direct Buyer Interaction: Regularly liaising with buyers for clarifications, managing samples, and securing approvals within targeted timelines.
• Collaboration with Production Teams: Working closely with production teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately interpreted and executed.
• Time and Action Plan Management: Preparing and following up on Time & Action plans (TNA) to guarantee timely delivery of raw materials to production.
• In-depth Costing and Pricing Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of garment costing and pricing, negotiating with buyers to establish final acceptable prices.
• Quotation Management: Determining appropriate price quotations to secure sales orders while maintaining profitability.
• Approval Monitoring: Tracking the status of approvals, pre-production samples, photo samples, and delivery timelines.
• Knit Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of knit products, fabrics, accessories, trims, and related components.
• Order Management: Overseeing all merchandising requirements upon order placement and facilitating handover to production/operations for execution.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Leading the team or acting as an effective team member, understanding company and buyer Code of Conduct (COC).
• Inventory and Production Oversight: Effectively following up on materials inventory, production processes, quality standards, and team performance.
• Sample Development Coordination: Managing sampling, development, and production at all stages.
• Sample Development and Buyer Onboarding: Developing samples, onboarding new buyers, and coordinating with designers.
• Pre-Costing and Post-Costing Responsibilities: Responsible for both pre-costing and post-costing of products.
• Overall Merchandising Management: Overseeing all merchandising activities to ensure smooth company operations.
• Independent Buyer Engagement: Managing all marketing and merchandising activities with buyers, including price quoting, negotiation, and sourcing.
• Quality Assurance Collaboration: Working closely with QA/QC teams to ensure the highest quality products.
• Production File Review: Conducting thorough reviews of production files.
