Additional Requirements

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Support the development and implementation of network architecture under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Monitor network and server performance, providing first-level support for any related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve network problems, including connectivity, performance, and security issues.
• Use monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and LibreNMS to track network and server health and performance.
• Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including firmware updates, configuration adjustments, and security patch applications.
• Provide technical support to both internal teams and external clients on network-related issues.
• Assist in upgrading network equipment to support new technologies and improve overall performance.
• Demonstrate a foundational understanding of networking principles and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and the OSI model.
• Configure basic settings for Mikrotik routers, including firewall and security features, NAT and routing, and bandwidth management.
• Perform Windows system administration, including tasks like OS setup, disk management, firewall configuration, networking, FTP, RDP, and Windows service management.
• Work with virtualization platforms like Hyper-V, VMware, VirtualBox, and Proxmox.
• Display a basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools is a plus.
• CCNA certification is an added advantage.
• Possess basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
• Demonstrate basic Linux administration skills, including command-line usage, file system management, user and group management, package management, process management, networking commands, system logs, and permissions.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware.
• Troubleshoot system, hardware, software, and I/O peripheral issues.
• Assemble desktop PCs.
• Proficiency in typing both in English and Bangla, with higher typing speeds being an advantage.
• Stay informed about the latest IT products, trends, and technologies to ensure efficient implementation and support.
• Capable of working under pressure and collaborating with external vendors for IT equipment procurement and warranty services.
