Additional Requirements

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in BBA, BA (English), BA (Economics), or BCom (Accounting)
  • Training or basic knowledge in proposal writing, EOI preparation, or business development will be considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with procurement guidelines of GoB, ADB, World Bank, or JICA will be a plus
  • Certification or short courses in Business Communication or English Writing preferred
  • Hands-on experience or training with e-GP (Bangladesh), ADB CMS, or World Bank STEP portal is an added advantage

Experience:

  • Up to 1 year of experience
  • Experience in consulting firms, engineering firms, or NGOs will be preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Age between 21 and 27 years
  • Graduates from reputed or top-ranked universities preferred
  • Strong command of written and spoken English is essential
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail in formatting and proofreading documents
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Key Skills:

  • Strong business email writing skills
  • Fluent English speaking ability
  • Basic understanding of EOI/RFP preparation
  • Knowledge of public procurement and consultant selection guidelines including:
    • PPR 2025 (Bangladesh)
    • ADB Consultant Procurement Guidelines
    • World Bank Procurement Regulations
    • JICA Consultant Guidelines
    • EU Consultant Procurement Procedures (advantageous)

Responsibilities & Context

D8 Consultants Ltd. (D8CL) is a multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm engaged in national and international projects funded by the Government of Bangladesh (GoB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank (WB), and JICA.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bid & Proposal Analyst to assist the Business Development team in preparing high-quality CVs, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and technical proposals.

This role is a great opportunity for fresh graduates with strong English proficiency or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are interested in building a career in consulting, proposal development, and international development projects.
