Branch Manager- Dhaka Metro and Surroundings (upto SAVP)

At least 8 years of professional experience in a reputed bank, preferably including 3 years in a similar position, with a strong client portfolio across Corporate, SME, and Retail Banking.

Experience in centralized banking processes and real-time online banking environments will be preferred.

Strong understanding of Branch Operations, General Banking, Lending Operations, Credit Management, and Foreign Trade Operations.

Good knowledge of the Bank Companies Act, Partnership Act, Bangladesh Artha Rin Adalat Act, AML Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, regulatory guidelines, and other relevant banking laws and regulations.

Excellent business communication, sales, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship-building skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant banking software.

Prepare and implement the Branch business plan in line with the Bank’s strategic goals, focusing on sustainable growth in deposits, advances, fee income, and overall profitability.

Lead business development and customer acquisition initiatives by maintaining existing relationships, attracting deposits, identifying new business opportunities, and meeting assigned asset and liability targets.

Collaborate with centralized functions and relevant Head Office departments, including Credit Risk Management, Credit Administration, Corporate Business, Trade Finance, Operations, and other support teams, to ensure timely business execution and seamless customer service.

Oversee daily branch operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery while maintaining operational standards and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Lead and supervise the Branch team to achieve individual and collective targets, promote a performance-oriented culture, optimize resource utilization, and encourage employees’ professional growth.

Maintain strong compliance, risk management, and internal control practices at the Branch by ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, AML/CFT guidelines, and the Bank’s policies and procedures, while identifying and mitigating potential operational and business risks.
