  • Communication Skills: Native-level fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory, with the ability to confidently lead video calls with C-level executives.

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero.

  • Advanced Excel Skills: Strong command of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure, particularly during peak tax seasons.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between complex financial data and client business objectives. This role goes beyond traditional accounting—you will serve as the primary point of contact for international clients, translating their financial data into meaningful insights and guiding their financial decision-making.

The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in accounting and finance, outstanding English communication skills, and a strategic mindset to support both client growth and the expansion of our service offerings.


Key Responsibilities

Client Communication & Needs Assessment

  • Act as the primary liaison for international (primarily US-based) clients, conducting meetings via Zoom or Google Meet in fluent, professional English.

  • Understand diverse client business models (e-commerce, real estate, SaaS, etc.) to deliver customized financial solutions.

  • Translate complex accounting concepts into clear, actionable business insights for business owners.

Financial Analysis, Reporting & Bookkeeping

  • Oversee and review bookkeeping activities to ensure compliance with US GAAP and international accounting standards.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Reports, with detailed financial commentary.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of revenues, expenses, and variances to identify trends and cost-optimization opportunities.

  • Manage complex accounting tasks such as multi-currency reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and related activities.

Business Development & Strategy

  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services (e.g., tax planning, cleanup services, CFO advisory) based on client needs and financial data.

  • Analyze internal processes to enhance workflow efficiency and reporting accuracy.

  • Support clients with financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow planning to drive sustainable growth.

Technology & Process Management

  • Utilize and manage cloud accounting platforms such as Xero and QuickBooks Online, along with integrated tools like Bill.com and Gusto.

  • Troubleshoot accounting software and integration issues and recommend technology stack improvements to clients.
