Education


  • Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), in Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Additional Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role, preferably in a growth-focused or performance-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of business metrics, KPIs, and performance analysis, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with marketing analytics, customer acquisition, and conversion rate optimization is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about business growth.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
 
 
Preferred Skills:
 
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, funnel analysis, and customer journey optimization.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and advanced data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude).
  • Familiarity with growth strategies and performance marketing tactics.

Responsibilities & Context

The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing key business data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights that support the growth and optimization of the company’s marketing and business strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to understand business objectives, identify areas for improvement, and develop data-driven recommendations that enhance overall performance.


Data Analysis & Reporting:
 
  • Analyze and interpret key performance metrics across marketing, sales, and business operations to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop regular performance reports and dashboards to track the effectiveness of growth strategies and marketing initiatives.
  • Perform detailed analysis of customer acquisition, retention, and conversion data to evaluate the success of campaigns and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct cohort analysis, segmentation, and predictive analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Create ad-hoc reports as needed to address specific business needs or strategic objectives.
 
 
 
Business Insights & Strategy Support:
 
  • Collaborate with the Growth & Performance team to understand business objectives and provide data-driven insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Identify key areas of business growth and performance gaps, providing recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Evaluate the impact of marketing, product, and sales initiatives on business growth and provide actionable insights to enhance performance.
  • Assist in setting and tracking KPIs for key growth initiatives, ensuring they align with overall business goals.
 
 
 
Forecasting & Market Analysis:
 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to provide insights on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor performance.
  • Support the development of forecasts and growth projections based on historical data, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Monitor industry and market changes to ensure business strategies are adapted in response to external factors.
 
 
 
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
 
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance) to gather business requirements and data for analysis.
  • Support the marketing team in evaluating campaign performance and providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Assist in developing models for pricing, customer segmentation, and customer lifetime value (CLV) to optimize marketing and business strategies.
  • Provide analytical support for the sales team in forecasting and pipeline management.
 
 
 
Process Improvement & Optimization:
 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection processes, reporting workflows, and performance measurement systems.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical tools, systems, and data visualization platforms.
  • Propose and implement strategies for optimizing marketing and growth operations, utilizing data to drive continuous improvement.
