Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking analytical, detail-oriented research analysts to help us improve our operations and decision-making. A research analyst's responsibilities include researching, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, and using data to guide corporate decision-making. A research analyst should be prepared to work in a variety of areas such as marketing, business operations, and finance.


  • Researching market trends, conducting surveys, analyzing data from competitors, and analyzing the business's operations, expenditures, and customer retention to identify patterns of potential issues or improvements.
  • Identifying and analyzing trends and forecasts and recommending improvements to the business processes.
  • Identifies potential new products or Businesses through research.
  • Forecasts and tracks industry marketing and sales trends based on collected data.
  • Create charts, graphs, and presentations for leadership teams.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research using SWOT analysis to identify new
  • opportunities for product expansion and market penetration.

Formulate and assess data collection methods and procedures such as opinion polls, focus groups, surveys or questionnaires.
