  • Well experienced on Foreign Exchange Guide Line related to Export activities and shipping terms.
  • Well experienced on international and incoming remittance.
  • Good understanding of import/export documentations.
  • Should have vast knowledge in freight forwarding.
  • Should have experience in using ERP software.
  • Independently motivated, extremely driven and result oriented
  • High proficiency in MS Office programme (Word, Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities & Context

  • Import & Export Operations
  • Execute all activities related to import/export processes, including BB L/C opening, UD (Utilization Declaration), and customs documentation.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations with factories, C&F agents, transporters, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and buyers to ensure smooth shipment and delivery.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare and verify all export-import documents including invoices, packing lists, B/L, COO, FCR, shipping instructions, and export contracts.
  • Submit necessary documents to the bank, customs, and other relevant authorities on time.
  • Handle documentation for customs clearance, bonded warehouse operations, and bond license renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with all government and international trade regulations, including customs audits and EPB/BGMEA requirements.
  • Liaison & Coordination
  • Maintain effective coordination and liaison with banks, EPB, BGMEA, Customs, CCI&E, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
  • Regularly communicate with local couriers, CNF agents, and government bodies to resolve any shipping or documentation issues.
  • Reporting & Monitoring
  • Prepare and maintain daily work logs, shipment tracking, and monthly export-import reports.
  • Follow up on export payment realization and ensure proper recordkeeping of bank negotiations and endorsements.
  • Scrutinize Letters of Credit (L/C) and check shipping documents received from suppliers for discrepancies.
  • Port & Logistics Coordination
  • Oversee delivery and clearance of goods from Chittagong Port, Dhaka Airport, Benapole Land Port, or any other designated port.
  • Monitor and control logistics & transportation costs through efficient planning and coordination.
