• Pattern Creation & Modification: Oversee the creation and modification of patterns using CAD software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra, Optitex).
• Pattern Grading & Marker Making: Ensure accurate pattern grading, marker making, and fabric consumption calculations.
• Fit & Shrinkage Review: Review and approve fit, shrinkage, and tolerances before finalizing patterns.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with designers, technical teams, and production to ensure proper garment construction and alignment with order requirements
• Fabric Efficiency: Maximize marker efficiency to reduce fabric wastage and improve cost-effectiveness.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure patterns comply with client specifications, fabric constraints, and cutting standards.
• Support for Merchandising: Provide CAD-based fabric consumption and costing details to the merchandising team.
• mooth Handover to Production: Ensure smooth handover of CAD data for cutting and sewing.
• Troubleshooting: Work with technical and quality control teams to resolve pattern and fitting issues.
• Pattern & Quality Adherence: Ensure all CAD-generated patterns adhere to buyer specifications and quality standards.
• Fit Trials & Approvals: Conduct fit trials and pre-production approvals with merchandisers and QA teams.
• Pattern Record Maintenance: Maintain records of pattern revisions, approvals, and modifications.
• Software Management: Manage CAD software licensing, upgrades, and troubleshoot issues.
• Team Training & Supervision: Train and supervise junior CAD operators and pattern makers.
• Technology Implementation: Implement new technologies to improve CAD operational efficiency.
• Database & Reporting: Maintain the CAD database, pattern archives, and marker efficiency reports. Provide regular reports on fabric utilization, wastage, and efficiency.
• Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of patterns, markers, and production files.
• Buyer & Supplier Collaboration: Work with buyers, technical teams, and suppliers to meet pattern and fit requirements.
• CAD File Delivery: Provide CAD files and digital patterns as per buyer’s tech pack specifications.
• Buyer Meetings & Pre-Production: Participate in buyer meetings and pre-production discussions.
