  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the packaging or carton sales industry.
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials, carton design, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets for carton sales in the packaging and trims industry.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and participation in industry events.
  • Offer technical expertise and consultative sales support to customers, advising on carton design, specifications, and material options.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including production and design, to accurately and efficiently meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive products, and potential new markets for carton solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, emphasizing product benefits and return on investment (ROI).
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, product innovations, and regulatory changes that impact packaging.
