Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, baked goods, and confectionery items for restaurant outlets, banquets, and room service operations.
Develop and recommend menus for baked items and provide creative input for new pastry and dessert offerings.
Complete daily food production sheets, operational checklists, and other required kitchen reports accurately.
Inspect food orders to ensure product quality, consistency, and attractive presentation standards.
Create signature pastries, desserts, and daily special items with approval from the Executive Chef.
Check ingredients upon delivery and prior to use to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in quarterly inventory management and recommend stock requirements to the Executive Chef.
Ensure proper storage and handling of unused food items to minimize waste and maintain product quality.
Report guest feedback, complaints, food spoilage, and pastry-related concerns to the Executive Chef and assist in resolving issues effectively.
Maintain strict compliance with hotel policies, hygiene standards, HACCP procedures, and Food Safety Authority regulations of Bangladesh.
Coordinate staffing schedules and food production planning during high-volume operations, including banquets, restaurants, and bar services.
Provide personalized guest service with professionalism, teamwork, and genuine hospitality.
Handle guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and prompt resolution to ensure guest satisfaction.
Supervise, mentor, and support pastry kitchen staff to maintain operational efficiency and product consistency.
Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments and management teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Maintain strong floor presence, positive communication, and professional conduct at all times.
Follow hotel grooming, hygiene, and workplace safety standards strictly.
Minimize workplace hazards by following all health and safety policies and procedures.
Perform all assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with company policies, operational standards, and brand values.
Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and contribute to a cooperative and professional working environment.
Represent the hotel brand professionally and maintain a positive public image at all times.
