Responsibilities & Context

Program Development:
  • Design and implement childcare programs tailored to meet the specific needs of the community.
  • Conduct assessments to identify the unique needs of children and families within the community.
 
Training and Capacity Building:
  • Provide training and support to caregivers, teachers, and community workers on best practices in childcare and child development.
  • Develop and distribute training materials and resources to enhance program delivery.
 
Community Engagement:
  • Collaborate with community leaders, parents, and stakeholders to promote and support childcare initiatives.
  • Organize community events and workshops to raise awareness about child development and well-being.
 
Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports detailing program activities, outcomes, and challenges for management and stakeholders.
  • Document case studies and success stories to share with the community and broader audience.
 
Integrity:
  • Adhere to Cordaid’s integrity standards, following the guidelines set in the Integrity Framework and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Actively promote a safe environment through open dialogue, trust, and adherence to integrity policies within the scope of influence.
 
Other Duties:
  • Support the project’s security and risk management system by identifying, communicating, and analyzing potential risks and security concerns. Provide mitigation recommendations and follow through on relevant procedures.
  • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support program implementation and other project outputs.
